In 1961 an unknown Aztec codex was revealed to Beat poet and explorer Marty Matz by a Mazatec shaman in the mountains of Oaxaca, Mexico. This codex presents a profound metaphysical teaching describing how the end of time will bring about a visionary ascent. At the behest of his Mazatec teacher, Matz transcribed this pictorial codex into a literary form that would preserve its initiatory teachings and reveal its secret meanings to a wider audience.

Pyramid of Fire is an epic poem that provides a vehicle to transport the initiate into the higher realms of consciousness. It represents a barely surviving thread of teachings that have been passed down in secret since the time of the Conquest. The solar energy within what the ancients called the "serpent of consciousness" is the spirit by which man is translated to the stellar realm at death. Line-by-line commentary by John Major Jenkins provides insights into the perennial philosophy contained in the codex and its relevance to our times.

Beyond 2012: Catastrophe or Ecstasy? I wrote the introduction to Geoff Stray's magisterial summation of all things 2012. It was released in the U.K. in 2005 and I am now sold out of my limited supply. More info.

New release of John Jay Harper's Tranceformers: Shamans of the 21st Century. (I wrote an essay called "The Solstice Sun and the Galactic Center" that appears as an appendix in this amazing book).

In 1995-6 I served as literary executor for Finnish translator and poet, Eino Friberg. I served as translation editor for the Finnish Ruusu-risti group. Between 1995-1997 I worked with them on Pekka Ervast's books. I edited and wrote the Introduction to Ervast's classic study of Finnish epic poetry and mysticism, The Key to the Kalevala. Our translation was then published in the U.S. in 1999.

My author profile, written by Moira Timms, was published in a book called Forbidden History.

Some comments on my earlier books: Journey to the Mayan Underworld (1989), Mirror in the Sky (1991), Outside the Cage (1990), Scenezine Selections (1990), 7 Wind (1993), Mayan Sacred Science (1994), and The Center of Mayan Time (1995).
